"After much comparison of fractional ownership operators, we settled for SmartBoating for several reasons.

  • The location was just right, Bayview is perfectly situated for us, much preferring to sail Pittwater than Sydney harbour.
  • We really liked the Hanse yachts, a dream to sail, quick, reponsive, modern styling and the self-tacking headsail is so good as we mainly sail the boat with just ourselves as crew.
  • Finally, the management team made it easy for us to decide: questions answered without ambiguity, a fair cost structure and trust deed (rules of operation) and a clear understanding of what happens at the end of the term of ownership.

David Biddle and his staff are experienced boat people and conduct the business very well.
