Ruel Rigging at Bayview Anchorage Marina

Here at SmartBoating we are really lucky to have a full range of marine services available right here at Bayview Anchorage Marina.

Ruel Rigging is headed up by Mario Ruel.

Mario grew up in a farming village in Canada miles from the sea...

... but by the time he was 17 years old he was at sea on tall ships.

Mario has sailed all over the world and round the world twice.

He did the rigging on the first reenactment of the Bounty.

Mario came to Australia in the early 1990s and has worked as a full-time rigger since.

Gillian Nathan is the other face you'll see at Ruel Rigging.

Gill is a local lady who has sailed on Pittwater all her life. She currently races as part of the team on a TP52.

Ruel take care of all our ropework, fittings and shrouds.
